Company E, Power's Regiment Mississippi Cavalry

Born November 16, 1846 in Mississippi

Died June 16, 1918 north of Wynnewood, Oklahoma

Buried at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and does have a military headstone

His wife, Orlena is also buried at Oaklawn.   She was born December 25, 1863 and died October 1, 1946

They were married February 2, 1877 in Denton, Texas, and came to Indian Territory in 1883

William made his living as a farmer and lived northeast of Wynnewood
