Thomas McCray Buck of Woodville Indian Territory, born December 10, 1838, Monroe Co. TN. Died May 7, 1894, and is buried in Old Woodville Cemetery. He Served in the Civil War as a private in Co. F under Captain David Murphy's company, 1st Regiment Missouri Light Artillery, Union Army 8-1862 in Springfield MO for three years. Mustered out July 12, 1865 in Mobile AL.

Thomas and Margaret (Reynolds) Buck
Thomas came to Woodville Indian Territory by covered wagon abt. 1881, and
was the Woodville Community blacksmith. He married Margaret E.T. Reynolds
Feb. 24, 1870, in Webster Co. MO. He first moved to Tarrant Co. TX where
we find him and his family in the 1880 census.

Robert Lee Buck was born in 1881.
Thomas died of a heat stroke at the age of 56 and was buried July 1894 in
Woodville Cemetery. Daughter, Mary Buck fell from a horse fall and died,
buried Aug. 14, 1894. Then one week later Aug. 21, 1894, Margaret died and
was buried along with her husband and daughter in Woodville Cemetery. Margaret
Buck applied for Thomas' pension on behalf of Robert Buck, age 2, on June
12, 1894 and two months later she died at the age of 49.
