Chitwood was born near Chandler, OK on Nov. 6, 1915 to William and Pearl (COLE) FARROW. She died May 20 in Shawnee.

NELSON
Funeral services for Homer Rae NELSON, 57, of Cashion will be May 22, burial in Cashion Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie.
Homer was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Arkinda, Ark. to Clyde and Ekna Arlene Nelson. He died May 19 at his home in Cashion.

Funeral services for Paul Maynard FEY, 76, of Guthrie will be May 23, at Davis Funeral Chapel in Guthrie.
FEY was born March 27, 1922, in Guthrie to Lou and Grace (JONES) FEY. He died May 21, at Logan Hospital and Medical Center.
He married Mable BURNS, on June 29, 1946, in Long Beach, Calif. FEY was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Victor; two sister, Mae and Margarete; two granddaughters.

SMITH
Funeral services for Carolyn Sue SMITH, 52, of Guthrie will be May 23, at the First Christain Church, burial in Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Guthrie under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie.
She was born Aug. 7, 1945, on Perry to Glen and Ester HODGE. She died May 21 at her home. She married James R. SMITH on Aug. 27, 1966, in Perry. SMITH was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her mother, her husband, three sons, Corey, Eric, and Toby. Smith is also survived by one brother, Leroy and one sister, Mary.

KING
Funeral services for Nettie M. KING, 97, of Guthrie, will be May 26, burial at Mr. Pilgrim Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Nettie was born Feb. 6, 1901, in Iconuim, OK to Horace and Queen KING. she died May 21, at Logan Hospital and Medical Ceneter.

MILLSAP

Perliner was born On Oct. 7, 1891, in Corsicana, Texas, to Moses and Mary Ann JONES. She died May 20 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center.

Debra was born March 15, 1965, in Perry, to Clyde and Carol ROBERTS. She died May 22, in Ponca City. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Wade Roberts, her grandmothers, Bonnie Roberts and Ruby GATES, and her grandfather, Bob GOLAY.
She is survived by her parents, Clyde and Mary Sue; her mother, Carol; three brothers, Jeff, Jerry, and Sidney.

Ham was born on Jan. 13, 1927, in Guthrie to Clark and Clara (GROSS) BOWEN. She died May 23 at her home in Guthrie. She married Carl Ham on Jan. 13, 1944 inGuthrie. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Randy; one brother, Gordon and one sister, Dorothy.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; one son, Carl W.; three daughters, Shirley, Joyce, and Delcy; one brother Harold Bowen.

WILSON
Funeral services for Lt. Col. Planter M. WILSON, 78, of Lawton were May 26 in Fort Sill under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Lawton.
Wilson was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Duncan. He died May 23 at his home in Lawton.

Conard was born March 11, 1912, in Georgia. She died May 23, at her home in Guthrie. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Willie Alvin HARRIS and Lousi CONARD, her parent, six sister and five brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Emmitt and Willie Harris.

JAMES
Funeral services for Don Perry JAMES, 72, of OK City will be May 29, burial at Chapel Hill under the direction of Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
James was born Nov. 3, 1925 in Oilton to Ora C. and Dora JAMES. He died May 24 in OK City.
Don married Leta WILLIAMS, daughter of Lee and Sophia Williams, on Feb. 27, 1949 in Guthrie.
Survivors include his wife, his children, Rerry, Mark, and Renee.

DENNY
Funeral service for Clemmie M. DENNY, 91, of Guthrie, was May 29, 1998, at the First Christain Church, burial was in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Clemmie was born Feb. 18, 1907, in Pleasant Valley, Okla. to Louis and Hannah BAKER, She died May 26 at the Stillwater Medical Center.
She is survived by one son, Reedis A. VANORDEN; one daughter, Beatrice, one stepson, one stepdaughter.
She was preceded in death by one grandson and her husband, Clyde DENNY, in 1983.

PARKER

SWANSON
Funeral services for John A. SWANSON, 89, of Crescent, were June 2 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent officiated by the Rev. Marty Harkey. Burial was in Crescent Cemetery, east of Crescent, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home.
John was born Jan. 8, 1909, in Emerson, Iowa. He passed away on Saturday, May 30 at Logan Hospital & Medical Center in Guthrie.

Ekiss was born Sept. 10, 1923, in Guthrie, to Cecil and Ada (ELDER) SNYDER, She died June 1, at Mercy Health Center in OK City.
Audine married Mark Ekiss on Dec. 26, 1944, in Wichita, Kan. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Linda Rae THOMISON and Marianne HALL; one brother, John SNYDER.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Gayle, Mary Beth, and Pamela; one son Kevin; one sister, Lee. She is also survived by one aunt, Irene.

FERGUSON
Funeral services for Eva Berneice FERGUSON, 62, of Guthrie will be June 5, burial at Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Ferguson was born on June 19, 1935, in Hunnington, W. VA. to Jasper and Virginia (ATKINS) MCCOY. She died June 1, at Mercy Health Center in OK City.
She married Eldon FERGUSON on Oct. 24, 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and daughter.
Survivors include her husband;three sons, Fred CANNING, Jay CANNING, and Kevin CANNING; three daughters, Ginger CANNING, Penny FERGUSON, and Creedence; one brother, Dale.

NELSON
Graveside services for Sherry Lea NELSON, 48, of rural Guthrie will be June 4, at Crescent Cemetery in Crescent, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Nelson was born April 12, 1950, in Guthrie to James H. and Laura O. (WHITE) CHENNAULT. She died June 1 at Baptist Hospital in Ok City.
She married Deral Nelson on April 17, 1978, in Midwest City. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one grandson.

WEBB
Funeral services for Clarence Wallace (Keil) WEBB, 80, of Crescent are scheduled Friday, June 5, at First Baptist Church of Crescent. The Rev. Marty Harkey will officiate. Burial will be Friday at Resthaven Cemetery in OK City. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent.
Webb was born April 24, 1918, in OK City. He died June 2, in OK City.

GNAVAUCH
Services for Katye Marie BURROWS GNAVAUCH, 94, of Guthrie were May 19, at Chapel of the Roses in Tulsa, burial was in Bixby Cemetery in Bixby, OK, under the direction of Butler and Stumpff Funeral HOme of Tulsa.
Katye was born June 9, 1903, in Luther, OK, to Arthur William BURROWS, and Druscilla SMITH BURROWS. She died May 17.
Katye married Roy GNAVAUCH on July 17, 1922, in Guthrie. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, her parents, and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two grandsons and one great-frand-daughter.

BOYD
Graveside services for Delores June BOYD, 70, of Guthrie will be June 9, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery in Guthrie under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Boyd was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Ponca City to Joseph and Leafa Pearl (JONES) BARTOSOVSKY. She died June 5, at Mercy Health Center in OK City.
She married Reid Boyd on Oct. 29, 1949 in Newkirk. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Sue; one brother, Bernard; two sisters, Martha and Fern.

ETHRIDGE

Funeral services for Mary Ann (BUCHANAN) STEWART, 73, of Crescent are scheduled for Wednesday at the Abernathy Funeral Home in Crescent, burial will be in Duncan Municipal Cemetery in Duncan.
Stewart was born Dec. 24, 1925, in Anadarko to Fitzhue Lee and Sarah Elizabeth (ADAMS) BUCHANAN. She died June 7 at the Crescent Care Center. She married Leonard Richard STEWART on Sept. 6, 1964 in Chickasha. He died April 26, 1990.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, Janes G., Harvey Lee, and Charles Edward; two sisters, Elizabeth BROWN and Naomi KINGSLEY, one son, Stanley Ray BUCHANAN, and one grandson, Jerry Leonard MARCOM.
Survivors include three sisters, Ruth, Myrtie, and Elsie; three brothers, Jack, Paul and David.

WRIGHT
Funeral services for Gene WRIGHT, 80, of Crescent were June 9 at First Baptist Church in Crescent, burial was in Oaklahd-Knowles Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home in Crescent.
Gene was born July 25, 1917 in Crescent. He passed away June 7 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie.

FOSTER
Marcus Lynn FOSTER was born Dec. 8, 1952 to Clyde and Bobbie Lee FOSTER in Wewoka, Okla. His mother preceded him in death.
On July 23, 1977, he was united in holy matrimony to Miss Ramona WYATT. He died June 6, 1998.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Lynnaille; father, Clyde; a sister, Lavetta; brothers, Clyde and Curt.
Services will be June 13, interment in Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK under the direction of Pollard Funeral Homes Inc.

ROWLEY
Funeral services for Margaret E. MARANG ROWLEY, 79, of Edmond will be June 13, burial in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home.
Rowley was born Dec. 29, 1918, in Meridian, She died June 9 in OK City.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Peter Edmundson BURCH, 52, of Guthrie will be June 18, burial in Seward Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Guthrie.
Burch was born Sept. 2, 1945, in St. Louis, MO. to Sterling C. and Louella V. (EDMUNDSON) BURCH. He died June 12 at Baptist Integris Burn Center in OK City.
He married Karen Nannette CURRAN on June 10, 1978, in Guthrie. Pete died a hero, he gave his life trying to save others. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife; his mother and stepfather, Louella and Jack CRAUN; three daughters, Melissa, Allison, Jessica; two sons, Nicholas and Joseph; one sister, Peggie; one brother, Jack.

BURNETT
Delpha L. BURNETT, 90, of Lone Wolf, OK., passed away June 15. She was born May 19, 1908 in Hinton, OK. and married Fred Burnett, who preceded her in death in 1985; son, Johnny L. Burnett in 1945; two grandchildren, Ronald HARRIS and Stephen Burnett.
Survivors include grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be June 17 at the People's Cooperative Funeral Home in Lone Wolf with interment at Retrop Cemetery north of Lone Wolf.

EATON
Graveside services for George Washington EATON, 62, of Guthrie will be June 17 at Witcher Cemetery in OK City under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie.
George was born May 27, 1936 in Parkensburg, W. VA. to George and Gladys Eaton. He died June 13 at Columbia Edmond Medical Center in Edmond.

Taylor was born Oct. 21, 1935, in Jasper, MO. to Walter and Elma PHIPPS TAYLOR. He died June 19, at Holton Hospital in Holton, Kan. He lived in Guthrie from 1984 to his retirement in 1997.

Janet was born on Feb. 22, 1950, to Charles and Anna PATTERSON STROUSE in McKeesport, PA. She died June 22, in Edmond.

BREWER
Funeral services for Warren Leroy BREWER, 77, of Coyle will be July 2, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Guthrie. Burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery on Coyle under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Brewer was born Oct. 6, 1920, in Coyle to Oscar and Mary (BECK) BREWER. He died June 27, on his farm outside of Coyle. He married Beatrice GISH Dec. 29, 1941, in Stillwater. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, LeRoy and Joel; one daughter, Sharon. He is also survived by one brother, Ralph.

Funeral services for Ray D. BRANDENBURG, 81, of Rock Island, Wash., were June 24, in East Wenatchee, Wash. He died June 19.
He was born Oct. 20, 1916, in Stroud, Okla. to Marvin and Millie (DELLING) BRANDENBURG.
On Jan. 4, 1940, he married Rose TONTZ.
He is survived by his wife, and two sons, Don and Dean; a brother, Merle and four sisters, Pearle, Dorothy, Martha, and Mary Jo.

Newlan was born Nov. 16, 1902, in Guthrie to Louis and Anastasia BOKORNEY. She died June 27, at Cole's Rest Haven in Guthrie.

Mass of Christian burial for Agnes (SCHRECK) SPITZ, 84, of Guthrie will be July 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guthrie, burial will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Spitz was born April 29, 1914 in Canute to Joseph and Elizabeth (FLIES) SCHRECK. She died June 30, at Mercy Health Center in OK City.
She married Frank Edward SPITZ on Feb. 3, 1931, in Canute. He preceded her in death Nov. 11, 1994. She was preceded in death also by her parents, one grandson, Michael Spitz, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Fred, Franklyn, and Leon; two sisters, Eula and Ethyel.

CLOUGH

Otis was born Nov. 21, 1915, in Arlington, Kan. to David E. and Allie Clough. He died July 2 at his home in Guthrie.

Graveside services for Alyce Elizabeth "Bette" ROBB JONES, 76, of Corpus Christi, Texas, will be July 5, at Seaside Memorial Park, Corpus Christi.
Bette was born June 9, 1922, in Guthrie to Richard David and Myrtle HURLEY ROBB. She died June 27, in Corpus Christi. Bette married Carl C. JONES in Guthrie in 1950. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1974.
Survivors are two daughters, Jeanne and Carla Sue; one son, Robb Lee.

COCHRAN
Funeral services for Jewell "Mickey" COCHRAN, 69, of Crescent will be July 7, burial at the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery, south of Crescent.
Mickey was born June 14, 1929, in Simal, Colo. to Roy and Edna TAYLOR. She died July 1.

Bobby is survived by his wife; his mother Betty Woodard; two daughters, Paula and Diana; one son, Stephen; one sister, Elizabeth; two grandchildren; one great grandchild.

WYATT
Funeral services for Mae Miriam Wyatt, 73, of Perkins, are scheduled for July 8 at Davis Funeral Chapel in Guthrie, burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Wyatt was born May 26, 1925, in Bronz, N.Y. to Otto and Edna A. (HARPHAN) SCHMAHL. She died July 5 in Perkins. Mae had lived in Coyle and Perkins for 50 years, moving to Oklahoma from Mobile, Ala.  She married Raymond ROBBINS; he preceded her in death June 27, 1967. She married J.T. Wyatt on Jan. 12, 1973 in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death also by her parents and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Richard; three daughters, Elizabeth, Evelyn, and Vedia; two sisters, Dolly and Louise; two brothers, John and Henry; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.

DOWNING

He married Lola Pauline SIMPSON May 20, 1934, in Stillwater, She preceded him in death Nov. 19, 1983. He was preceded in death also by his parents and one sister, Carrie BEUCHAW.

She was born Sept. 7, 1924, in Bonham, Texas, the youngest of five children of Joe D. and Jewel Irene WATKINS. Owen and her former husband, Charles Owen moved to Crescent in 1949 and were co-publishers of the Logan County News from 1949 until 1972. She was editor of Kingfisher Times and Free Press from 1977 until 1980.
She is survived by two daughters, Deann and Denise; three grandchildren; one sister, Bethlee; one brother, Kenneth D. Watkins; two nieces; eight nephews and many great-nieces and nephews; She was jpreceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one brother-in-law and two sister-in-laws.

Dale was born on July 27, 1925, in Edmond to Charles and Clara Pyle. He died Sept. 30 in OK City.
Dale, a longtime area farmer and rancher, married Leta Mae LOWRIE in 1947 in Winfield, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Dale is survived by his wife; one son; one brother, Dean; two nieces and four nephews.

BARNES

Ward was born Aug. 17, 1912 in Guthrie to George A. and Ethel L. (HALL) DUTHCHER. She died Nov. 2 in OKC.
During WW II she was a Rosie Riverter at Douglas Aircraft.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Winfred Onus "Windy" Ward; one son, one daughter and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include six children, Geral Robert "Bob", William Avery "Bill", Winfred "Colonel", Peggy Louise, Karen Ann, and Martha Jane.; two brothers, Guy and Benny; one sister, Edith; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.

He married Laura McGee on April 4, 1972 in Guthrie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Julie Powell; five brothers; five sisters; three daughters, Betty Canning, Nancy DuBois, and Peggy Rogers.

He died on Oct. 2, 1987.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy M. JOHNSON and four brothers, Clifford, Wilber, Louis and Carl PADGHAM.
Survivors include two sons, Gilber and David; a sister, Pat; eight grandchildren.
