ADAIR
Funeral services for Max Herron  ADAIR, Pryor, Friday, in the First United Methodist Church in Pryor. Rev. Bill MOSS officiated. Burial was in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with military honors by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team.
Key Funeral Home in charge. Adair died August 17, 1998, in  Pryor, age 77.  
He was born May 27, 1921, in Adair, he  was the son of Millard Herron and Minnie 0. (THOMPSON) ADAIR.
He  grew up and attended school in P!yor, graduating in 1941.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
June 14, 1947, he and Marie Stiver were married in Grove.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge  #100, American Legion and Elks Lodge #2320. He was also a member of the Irryor Board of Education.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cynthia ; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Larry; four grandchildren; two brothers, Dale G. and  Paul H., and his mother, Minnie YOUNGBLOOD.
He was preceded in death by his father, Millard Herron.
