Mr. Venus' Story:

I came to Oklahoma in 1901.

Have much direct from the old india[n}s on paper.

Am 82 years old; can still talk, -- will give you much that is valuable and hope to have my accumulations in your care. Here is one story by an old indian woman. I asked her, "Where dose [sic] an indian go when he dies?" "Do you want the truth?" "Sure." "When an indian dies he crosses the great river and enters the happy hunting ground of his Pappy's Pappy's Pap[p]y's Pappy."
