FRAME, Douglas (Age 75)

Douglas G. Frame, Sr. entered the arms of his Heavenly
Father on February 23, 2006 with his family by his
side. Doug was born on August 28, 1930 in Checotah, OK
to Douglas N. and Jeffie Stewart Frame. At the age of
three, the family moved to Henryetta, OK where they
opened several grocery stores. Doug graduated from
Henryetta High School in 1948. While working at
Shurden's Funeral Home in Henryetta, he received his
funeral director's license at the age of seventeen,
the youngest issued in the state of Oklahoma. Doug
attended Oklahoma A&M on a wrestling scholarship for a
brief period. On May 24, 1950 Doug entered the USAF,
22 Air Police Squadron where he served at March AFB,
CA and in Middlesex, England. In 1956 Doug applied to
and was selected to attend the USAF Special
Investigator's School from which he graduated the
basic class of 56-1 on December 7, 1956; on November
6, 1959 he graduated the Advanced Special Investigator
Course; in September 1966 he completed the specialized
Counter-intelligence Course, and in May 1970 completed
the Counter-intelligence Case Officer's Program. As a
Special Agent with the Office of Special
Investigations, Doug's numerous assignments included
Parks AFB, CA, South Ruislip, England, where he worked
in conjunction with Scotland Yard, Norton AFB in San
Bernardino, CA, Seoul, Korea, Wiesbaden, Germany, and
Athens, Greece. Doug retired from the military on
August 1, 1974. Upon retirement, Doug obtained a
realtor's license in 1974 and subsequently, a broker's
license and a G.R.I, in March 1979. He worked with
James S. Black and Co.; Heritage Realty as an
associate broker, and in 1978 for Clyde Gett Real
Estate in Coeur d'Alene. In 1979, Doug served as
Executive Director of KCCA until October 1980, when
the Jackson Center was opened of which he served as
Executive Director. In 1982, he was Administrator of
Panhandle Alcohol Outpatient Services in Coeur
d'Alene, which served the five northern counties. In
1985, Doug became Administrator of United Services
Northwest for Washington and Idaho. In 1986, Doug was
employed by the State of Idaho Office of Attorney
General as a fraud investigator until his retirement
in August 1995. Doug was a former member of Officer's
Without License (OWL's). He married Rosella Beres on
August 25, 1966 in Clark County, Nevada. Doug was a
devoted husband, father, grandpa, and Christian. He
was an active member of the Church of Christ in Coeur
d'Alene for the past 31 years. The Lord was always the
first priority in his life, and it showed in his many
actions. Doug overcame many obstacles in the younger
part of his life, only to make him the person we loved
and admired. He was looking forward to meeting his
Heavenly Father and had the type of conviction that
was such an encouragement and inspiration to us all.
We all look forward to the day we can meet again on
that beautiful shore, but until then Papa, we love you
and miss you sorely. He is survived by his wife of 39
years, Rosella; son Douglas G. Frame, Jr.; daughter
Kathryn Childs, son-in-law D. Brian Childs, and
grandson Conner Patrick Childs of Coeur d'Alene;
daughter-in-law Natalie Frame and grandchildren

family prefers memorials to the American Lung or Heart
