I hereby make application for such share as me be due me of the fund appropriated by the Act of Congress approved June 30, 1906, in accordance with the decrees of the Court of Claims of May 18, 1905, and May 28, 1906, in favor of the Eastern Cherokees. The evidence of identity is herewith subjoined.

Emigrant payment 1852 in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory. Mother got Cherokee payments from 1875 to 1886.

AFFIDAVIT

(The following affidavit must be sworn to by two or more witnesses who are well acquainted with the applicant.)


Personally appeared before me Caland J. Harris and Harden H. Green, who being duly sworn, on oath depose and say that they are well acquainted with Thomas J. Tadpole , who makes the foregoing application and statements, and have known him for 15 years and 18 years, respectively, and know him to be the identical person he represents himself to be, and that the statements made by him are true, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and they have no interest whatever in his claim.

Supplemental Application for Minor Children

As Cherokee- in Tahlequah District, Cherokee Nation for Cherokee Indian Lands, allotment about 1900 and rec'd same.

Personally appeared before me Shorey W. Ross and Lewis A. Ross who, being duly sworn, on oath depose and say that they are well acquainted with Thomas J. Tadpole, who makes the foregoing application and statement, and have known him for 15 years and 7 years, respectively, and know him to be the identical person he represents himself to be and that on May 28, 1906, he had the children living as above set forth, and that the statements made by him are true, and they have no interest whatever in claim.

LETTER ATTACHED TO MILLER APPLICATION # 10959

Dear Sir:

Your letter of August 26, 1907 received wherein it state this-'It does not appear from the records of this office that you have filed an original application, and the number which appear in the supplemental is found to be that of another applicant." I will say this that on February 18, 1907, I received a receipt where you acknowledge my application No. thus 10956 and later on I made application for my minor son and receipt acknowledge dated August 17, 1907 No. thus 10959.

Hopes that the matter will be made O.K.
