MIDWAY

had a post office from June 10, 1924 until June 15, 1930.The town was located in the East ½ of Section 2, Township 14, Range 26

Midway School was formed from Liberty, Creston, Hamburg or Shaw, Pleasant View or Moellar, Bacholer and Locust Grove Schools {page 88 of 101 School Book} They had a school until 1945 when the students transferred to Durham and Reydon. The school was located in the SE1/4 of NE1/4 of Section 2, Township 14, Range 26. History of this Midway School (there were two in Roger Mills County) is listed Between District 53 and 54 in the School Book.
