BURNS CAUSE DEATH
                    OF WOOD INFANT
  Picher- March 17- Joseph  L. Wood ,the 20 month old, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wood, residing south of the city,died
Saturday afternoon, at 3 o'clock from burns received several
hours earlier.
  The little boy 's dress caught on fire from a gas heater, the
flames rapaidy enveloping the body and badly burning the
child befor the fire could be extinguished.
  The funeral was held from the family home Sundau afternoon
at 3 o'clock. The Rev. Glenn E.Tilton conducted the services
and burail was in the Miami, G.A.R. cemetery.
